Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description

We're seeking a Manufacturing Engineer responsible for improving production efficiency, stabilizing manufacturing processes, and leading automation and equipment upgrades across the plant.

What You'll Do

Design and improve manufacturing processes for new and existing products
Develop production tooling using SolidWorks (2D/3D)
Lead process optimization and productivity improvements on production lines
Perform root cause analysis using statistical and Lean methods
Conduct FMEA, DOE, and process validation on new and existing products
Support new product launches and design changes for manufacturability
Partner with cross-functional teams (engineering, production, quality)
Support automation projects , including:
- Robotics
- PLC integration
- Vision systems
- End-of-arm tooling
- Fixtures and gauges
Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives

What You Bring

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience (considered with strong background)
3+ years in Manufacturing Engineering in fabrication
Strong tooling design experience
Hands-on experience with SolidWorks (required)
Exposure to:
- Automation / robotics
- PLCs
Project or initiative ownership experience
Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing tools and problem-solving methods
