Schedule: Monday-Friday 7 AM-4:30 PM

Location: Conyers GA 30012

Job Type: Local contract

Contract Length: 12 weeks

Pay Range: $21.70/Hr. to $23.24/hr.

Job Summary: Responsible for collecting blood specimens, processing samples for laboratory testing, and providing excellent patient service. Ensures accurate specimen handling while maintaining patient confidentiality and following established procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform blood draws and specimen collection on patients of all ages.
• Label, process, and prepare specimens for testing.
• Verify patient information and maintain accurate records.
• Follow safety, quality, and compliance standards.
• Provide professional and compassionate patient care.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent. Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred. Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
