Manufacturing Engineering Co-Op

Lead efforts to review and update tolerancing on released assembly drawings using SolidWorks. Collaborate with Quality, Design Engineering, and Production teams to ensure engineering changes are fully vetted, documented, and compliant with customer requirements. Process Improvement Support manufacturing technicians in identifying and implementing process improvements that enhance production efficiency, quality, and overall performance. Data Analysis Collect, analyze, and interpret manufacturing and process data using Minitab, Microsoft Excel, and other analytical tools. Identify trends, investigate issues, and provide data-driven recommendations to support informed decision-making. Documentation & Process Development Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, including: Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Work Instructions Process Flow Diagrams Process and Engineering Documentation Equipment & Manufacturing Support Assist with the maintenance, calibration, and optimization of manufacturing equipment to ensure reliable operation and performance. Work closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Operations, Production, and R&D teams to support business objectives and improve manufacturing processes. Safety & Compliance What You'll Bring Education Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in: Manufacturing Engineering Mechanical Engineering Industrial Engineering Or a related engineering discipline Technical Skills Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and production environments. Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD. Familiarity with statistical analysis and data-driven problem-solving techniques. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. Preferred Qualifications Previous co-op, internship, or project experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience working with ERP systems or manufacturing software.
