Midfield Dental Center is looking for a friendly, dependable, and experienced Dental Assistant to join our growing team!

At Midfield, we believe in cross-training, sharing knowledge, and supporting one another. Our assistants do much more than traditional chairside assisting. They anticipate the doctor's needs, take initiative, and confidently contribute to patient care.

You must have strong general dentistry experience and be confident and comfortable assisting with crowns and bridges, simple and surgical extractions, presenting treatment plans, digital scanning, and a variety of restorative procedures. Experience assisting with implant placement is highly preferred.

We value assistants who are eager to learn, willing to help wherever needed, and confident in taking ownership of their responsibilities.

What You'll Do (Including, but Not Limited To)

• Assist our doctors with a variety of general dentistry procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for scheduled procedures.
• Take digital X-rays and maintain accurate clinical records.
• Follow OSHA, infection control, and sterilization protocols.
• Help patients feel comfortable, informed, and confident about their dental care.
• Provide clear post-treatment instructions and answer patient questions.
• Anticipate the doctor's needs and help keep appointments running smoothly.
• Work closely with assistants, hygienists, doctors, and front office team members.
• Take ownership of your responsibilities and jump in to help when needed.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience in general dentistry required.
• Strong chairside assisting skills and knowledge of dental procedures.
• Experience with digital X-rays and dental practice software.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
• A friendly, outgoing, professional personality.
• Dependability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
• The ability to stay organized and maintain a positive attitude during busy days.
• Someone who accepts feedback, welcomes learning, and takes pride in their work.

Experience with Eaglesoft is a plus!

• $18 to $24 per hour, depending on experience
