The Warehouse Manager facilitates an efficient and safe warehouse environment by ensuring that effective processes, procedures, and methods are utilized.Duties and ResponsibilitiesCompletes a variety of tasks relating to warehouse and distribution of materials to crews, customer work locations and within the warehouseManages a safe and clean work environmentOrganizes inventory area and tool room in warehouse based on operational best practicesSupervises and manages warehouse staffEnsures the receipt, coordination and safety of goods coming throughEnsures that orders arrive and are dispatched on time to the appropriate destinations and in the expected quantitiesCoordinates with Branch Management and Senior Management to assesses the labor and output needs for the warehouseWorks with all departments and locations across the organizationAbility to read and digest reports, data, statistics and similar informationProvides leadership to build relationships crucial to the success of the organizationPrioritizes conflicting needs, handles issues expeditiously, proactively, and follows-through on projects to successful completionAbility to operate or be trained to operate a forkliftOccasional travelIt is an essential function of this job that the employee regularly and reliably reports to work on time each working day.All other duties as assignedQualifications2-5 Years of warehouse management experienceKnowledge of current OSHA and Forklift Operators license preferred but not requiredKnowledge and understanding of structural foundations, waterproofing and products is a plusExcellent communication skills both written, oral/verbal requiredAbility to drive light commercial vehicles as requiredAbility to navigate comfortably on computers, tablets and computer softwareWorking ConditionsThis position is manual and physical in nature.
