Speech Language Pathologist

Step into a rewarding opportunity serving junior high school students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in an onsite, full-time contract role. This position focuses on supporting a vibrant student community during a maternity leave period, starting as soon as possible and continuing through October 6, 2026. You’ll join a dedicated educational team helping students gain essential communication skills to thrive academically and socially. Key Qualifications: Active SLP-CCC license issued by the state of Ohio Previous experience in a school setting, particularly with junior high/preteen populations Deep understanding of assessment, intervention, and documentation in compliance with school and state requirements Excellent collaboration skills for working with teachers, administrators, and parents Commitment to onsite service delivery throughout the duration of the assignment Main Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language assessments for junior high school students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to academic and communication goals Participate actively in IEP meetings and collaborate on multidisciplinary teams Track student progress and maintain thorough documentation Provide direct therapy and consultative services across a range of communication disorders Serve as a resource for school staff, offering guidance and recommendations as needed This opportunity offers you a chance to make a genuine difference in students’ educational journeys while working in a collaborative and supportive school environment.
