TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Garfield Heights, Ohio, 44125!

Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit during night shift hours
• Monitor and interpret ECG cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Complete required orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate evaluations

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent Medical Surgical / Telemetry experience
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or Compact state license in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification (must be current with nothing pending)
• Active AHA or American Red Cross ACLS certification (must be current with nothing pending)
• Must be willing to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start date
• Must achieve an acceptable score on both ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation (maximum of 2 attempts permitted)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 18 months of Med/Surg Telemetry experience within a single location
• Experience in a charge RN or supervisory capacity within the specialty
