Commercial Construction Superintendent

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Salary: Up to $120,000 + Vehicle Allowance + Profit Share + Full Benefits

A well-established and growing commercial general contractor is looking to hire an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to join their team in Columbus, Ohio. Responsibilities

• Manage commercial construction projects from groundbreaking through completion.
• Coordinate and supervise all on-site subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Maintain project schedules and proactively resolve site issues.
• Lead daily site meetings and communicate effectively with Project Managers, owners, architects, and subcontractors.
• Enforce OSHA safety standards and company safety procedures.
• Review construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Monitor workmanship and maintain quality control throughout every phase of construction.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Superintendent with a commercial general contractor.
• Experience delivering commercial construction projects such as healthcare, education, industrial, office, retail, hospitality, or multifamily.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and keep projects on schedule.
• Excellent knowledge of construction methods, safety regulations, and scheduling.
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction software is an advantage.
• Valid driver's license.
