Job Summary
Physical Therapist Outpatient (PT OP) in an outpatient setting located in the area. This role involves evaluating patients, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and coordinating therapy services to support patient recovery and functional independence. The position is ideal for a dedicated professional seeking a six-month contract with a focus on patient-centered care.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Degree in Physical Therapy from an Accredited School; CPR Certification; Active license for the state where work will be performed; 6 months to 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience preferred; 6-month duration desired.
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Completes comprehensive patient evaluations, develops appropriate treatment goals, and modifies plans as needed to facilitate progress toward discharge within an established length of stay.
• Accurately documents medical records, including goal writing and functional assessments, in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participates in student programs, providing supervision and fostering a positive learning environment.
• Engages in continued professional development through ongoing education and professional activities.
• Adheres to all organizational and regulatory guidelines, maintaining licensure and completing mandated continuing education.
• Follows performance improvement initiatives to optimize patient care quality and safety.
• Ensures care is provided based on signed physician orders and within insurance approval parameters.
