Senior SQA Analyst - Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior SQA Analyst - Hybrid position with a Major Financial Institution located in Kansas City, MO; Denver, CO; Oklahoma City, OK; Omaha, NE; or Dallas, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. Pay Range: $49.00 - $64.00 per hour based on experience. This position will support the Common Exam Platform (CEP) technology delivery and testing efforts. The role is vital to ensuring that the technological platform underpinning bank examination duties enables our client to meet supervision and regulation requirements efficiently and effectively, thereby ensuring a safe and sound banking system.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Analyze, design, test, and deliver technology solutions for business areas and implement comprehensive software quality assurance strategies
• Establish and foster collaborative relationships with customers, service providers, and technical delivery partners
• Develop test scenarios/user acceptance criteria by understanding business drivers to perform an analysis and review of requirement specifications and/or user stories
• Develop, review, and execute test plans, test scripts, and test data to ensure application products and services meet business needs, quality standards, and end user/non-functional requirements
• Document, track, and resolve software defects or issues in collaboration with the product delivery team
• Ensure quality is built into the software solution throughout the software development lifecycle by performing peer reviews and leveraging relevant quality assurance processes and technologies
• Develop and communicate software quality measures that report the reliability, compliance/accessibility, performance, and security of the software products and services developed
• Work closely with delivery partners to understand and align software quality assurance services with product delivery approach and schedule

Requirements:

• Typically requires at least 6 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science/technology, business administration, or a closely related field from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of directly related education and/or experience
• Broad, in-depth understanding and experience with the quality assurance and testing discipline
• Performs most work independently with limited supervision and direction
• Strong preference for candidates possessing testing skills and experience with agile, cloud-based delivery in close alignment with the application development team
• Demonstrate growth mindset and learning agility
• Excellent problem-solving skills, strong written and verbal communication, and ability to effectively balance constraints and priorities
• Strong interpersonal skills, initiative, and teamwork
• Experience working in the financial industry surrounding.NET, Java, and JavaScript technologies
• Experience providing manual and automated testing services to assure the quality of strategic and high priority applications
• Strong understanding of test automation best practices and can architect, develop, and debug medium to complex level automation scripts
• Understanding of the software development process and major technology terms
• United States citizenship or lawful permanent resident alien status with at least three or more years of United States residency is required

Desired Skills:

• Experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD)
• Experience working in a low code no code development platform - Appian is a plus
• Experience working in low code no code test automation tool - AccelQ is a plus
