Description: This is an acute, non-telemetry medical-surgical unit. The unit will maintain a patient ratio of 1:5. All candidates must have BLS certification, with ACLS preferred. A minimum of 1 year of experience is required. Experience in an academic medical center is preferred. Local travelers within 100 miles are not accepted. Candidates are required to float within the hospital or to an affiliate hospital nearby. Previous charge experience is preferred. Candidates will not be accepted if they have any licensure hits. Eligibility for rehire must be noted during submission. Compliance requirements include acute medical-surgical experience only. No telemetry or EKG testing experience is required. Modules are billable and will vary by specialty.
