Workers’ Compensation Litigation Attorney - Florida Pozo-Diaz & Pozo, P.A. is a growing and well-respected law firm comprised of diverse attorneys and legal staff with extensive insurance defense litigation and transactional experience. We are committed to excellence and fostering an environment that supports professional as well as personal development. Pozo-Diaz & Pozo, P.A. is currently seeking an enthusiastic Workers’ Compensation Litigation Attorney with at least 3 years of experience. Qualifications/Competencies
- Eagerness to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment
- Excellent and persuasive verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Commitment to delivery of high-quality work product
- Proficient use of technology and automation resources, such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Prior insurance defense and/or workers’ compensation litigation experience
- Licensed member of the Florida Bar in good standing
- Manage a caseload from case inception through trial/resolution
- Conduct legal research and supervise research projects delegated to paralegals
- Prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and reports
- Attend court proceedings, depositions, mediations, and meetings with clients
- Negotiate settlements
- Minimum 3 years of dedicated workers’ compensation experience
- Proven ability to manage workers’ compensation caseloads
