Litigation Secretary | Fair Oak, Hampshire | Up to £25,000
A long-established and highly respected law firm with a strong presence across Hampshire is looking for a Litigation Secretary to join their Fair Oak office on a full-time, permanent basis.
This is a firm with real heritage, having served individuals and businesses for well over a century. They pride themselves on a personal, client-focused approach and a genuinely supportive team culture. Staff welfare matters here, and the firm is known for going the extra mile for both its clients and its people.
The Role
You will provide secretarial and front-of-house reception support within the litigation department, working closely with two or three fee earners. No two days will look the same. You will be managing diaries, preparing correspondence, handling calls, greeting clients, and keeping the team organised and running smoothly. This is a varied, hands-on role where you will quickly become an essential part of how the office operates.
What They're Looking For
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail in all written work
- Excellent diary management and time-keeping skills
- A confident, professional manner when dealing with clients face to face and over the phone
- A genuine team player who is happy to support colleagues across the department
- Someone at a relatively early stage in their career who is keen to learn and develop
Previous experience in a legal or professional services environment would be an advantage, but is not essential. What matters most is the right attitude, a willingness to get stuck in, and a desire to build a career in law.
The Details
- Full-time, Monday to Friday
- Salary up to £25,000
- Based in Fair Oak, Hampshire, with free on-street parking
