Job Summary
Emergency Room Nurse Emergency Department Tallahassee, FL. This busy trauma center and teaching hospital handles over 200 patients daily within a 50+ bed Emergency Department. The position involves providing high-quality urgent care in a Level 2 Trauma designated facility, with a focus on trauma, stroke, and chest pain management.

Job Details

• Location: Tallahassee, FL
• Position: Emergency Room Nurse (ER)
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM 7:30 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Compact or Florida license, American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC - required after first year), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI - required after first 13-week assignment) Certifications, and a passing score on the Advanced Dysrhythmia/Electrocardiogram (EKG) competence exam.
• Experience required: Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a busy trauma or emergency setting, with prior experience in a similar size ER (50+ beds), teaching environment, and trauma level 2 trauma center.
