Advanced Practice Provider

We are growing our Advanced Practice Provider team and seeking experienced clinicians to support care in a high‑acuity Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). This is an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment focused on delivering evidence‑based care to neonates requiring advanced support. Position Overview Our Level IV NICU provides comprehensive care for premature and critically ill newborns. The care team includes Neonatologists, Advanced Practice Providers, pediatric specialists, and multidisciplinary support staff working together to manage complex neonatal conditions. Schedule 12‑hour or 24‑hour shifts Day and night options available No call requirement Key Responsibilities Provide clinical care for neonates in a NICU setting in collaboration with supervising neonatologists Attend high‑risk deliveries and initiate appropriate neonatal resuscitation and stabilization Perform comprehensive newborn assessments and physical examinations Obtain patient and family histories Develop and implement care plans in coordination with the care team Order and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic studies Perform procedures within the scope of practice Manage general neonatal care, including feeding, thermoregulation, and phototherapy Participate in daily rounds and interdisciplinary communication Competitive compensation package Sign‑on bonus up to $30,000 Relocation assistance up to $7,500 Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life and disability coverage 401(k) with employer match Additional retirement savings options Paid time off and holidays Continuing education and professional development support Licensure, certification, and malpractice coverage assistance Qualifications Current, unrestricted APRN license Current BLS and NRP certification Current, unrestricted PA license NCCPA certification Current BLS and NRP certification Experience Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience preferred About the Organization Pivotal Placement Services is a nationwide healthcare recruiting firm specializing in clinical and non‑clinical placements.
