Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.Job Summary: As a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) Inspector, you are responsible for performing dimensional inspections using Coordinate Measuring Machines and other precision inspection tools to verify that engine components meet engineering specifications, customer requirements, and industry standards. This role ensures product conformity, supports production with timely feedback, and helps maintain the overall quality system.This is a 1st Shift position: Monday – Thursday 5:30 am – 4:00 pmWhat You Will Do:Set up, program, and operate CMM equipment to perform first-article, in-process, and final inspections.Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, models, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).Create, modify, and troubleshoot CMM programs (e.g., Calypso)Perform dimensional analysis using micrometers, calipers, height gages, optical comparators, and other precision instruments.Document inspection results and generate reports for quality records, FAIRs, and customer submissions.Identify nonconformances and communicate findings to engineering, production, and quality teams.Support root-cause investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.Maintain calibration of inspection tools and follow all standard work, safety procedures, and quality system requirements.Assist with training operators and inspectors on print reading and measurement techniques.Qualifications You Must Have :HS Diploma or GED equivalent1 + years' experience with CMM programmingQualifications We Value :2+ years' experience with CMM programmingAS ME certification.Aerospace, defense, automotive, or precision machining background.Experience with FAIRs, PPAPs, and AS9100/ISO 9001 standards.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality documentation systemsWhat We Offer :Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage.Short-term and long-term disability, plus parental leave.401(k) plan with company match.Flexible Spending Accounts for healthcare and dependent care.Employee Assistance Program for personal and professional support.Employee Scholar Program with no waiting period.Generous paid time off, granted upfront and pro-rated based on start date, including 3 weeks of vacation, 5 personal sick days, 3 unpaid days for unique circumstances (at supervisor discretion), and 12 paid government holidays annually.This role is:Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite.
