Akira Technologies is seeking a Collibra Platform Engineer to support the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) in the administration, configuration, integration, and sustainment of the Collibra Data Intelligence Platform in a multi-environment, FedRAMP SaaS deployment. The engineer will support Collibra operating models, workflows, metadata harvesting and lineage, platform integrations, and related software components across Linux and Windows environments.

Work Location: This is primarily a remote position; however, the candidate may be requested to attend occasional in-person meetings at OCC Headquarters.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, maintain, and support Collibra across multiple environments.
• Implement and modify Collibra operating models, workflows, and platform configurations.
• Develop and maintain workflows using Collibra Workflow Designer and Workflow Manager for Eclipse.
• Configure and support Collibra Edge, including metadata harvesting and data lineage.
• Administer and support Collibra Jobserver.
• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot JDK-based microservices supporting platform integrations.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs, including coding, logging, exception handling, and integration testing.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot software components in Linux and Windows environments.
• Manage certificates, secrets, service accounts, and service-account credentials.
• Use source-code management and Agile work-item management platforms to support software development and maintenance.
• Collaborate with technical teams, customers, and stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and implement platform enhancements.
• Document configurations, technical processes, integrations, and operational procedures.

Required Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on Collibra experience.
• Must have either Collibra Solution Architect or Collibra Ranger certification.
• Experience administering and configuring Collibra in multi-environment implementations.
• Experience implementing or modifying Collibra operating models.
• Hands-on experience with Collibra Workflow Designer and Workflow Manager for Eclipse.
• Experience with Collibra Edge, metadata harvesting, and data lineage.
• Experience with Collibra Jobserver.
• Experience developing, maintaining, and supporting JDK-based microservices.
• Experience with REST APIs, logging, exception handling, coding, and integration testing.
• Experience maintaining software components on Linux and Windows.
• Experience managing certificates, secrets, and service-account credentials.
• Experience with source-code management and Agile work-item management platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Collibra within Federal Government or regulated environments.
• Experience supporting FedRAMP-authorized SaaS platforms.
• Experience supporting enterprise data governance, metadata management, data catalogs, and data lineage initiatives.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Salary Range: $110,000 to $120,000

Akira’s pay range for this position considers various factors including skills, years of experience, training, licenses, certifications, alignment with market data, and internal equity in the organization. This pay range estimate is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary, which Akira believes to be done in good faith in compliance with local laws. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
