This role involves providing advanced care to adult and geriatric patients on a 24-bed telemetry, stepdown, and progressive care floor. The position requires delivering complex care to patients with various diagnoses, including stroke and cardiac conditions, within a comprehensive stroke center and Level II Trauma facility. Job Details Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week Required Qualifications: Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS); 1 year of clinical experience; valid state or compact license in hand at the time of submittal; ability to work independently with experience in cardiac care, dysrhythmia interpretation, and emergent procedures Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a Level II Trauma and stroke center, proficiency with electronic charting systems such as Epic, and familiarity with advanced cardiac management practices Additional Information: Unit accepts first-time travelers, staffing ratio of 1:3 or 1:4, and the patient population includes adults and geriatrics. The unit offers interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams. Clinical procedures include emergent cardioversion and central line placement.
