St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) for our 5D TCU Cardiothoracic Telemetry Step Down Unit located within the Edgewood Hospital. Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), 5D TCU Cardiothoracic Telemetry - 36 Bed Unit Shift/Hours: Full-Time – 36 hours/week, 7P-7A

The Certified Nursing Assistant provides direct and indirect patient care activities under the direction of an RN or LPN:
- Assists patients with activities of daily living
- Provides patients personal care and comfort
- Assists in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment for an assigned group of patients
Qualifications
- Certified in the state where work is being performed as Certified Nurse Assistant
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
- Completion of applicable state courses.
- Successful completion of Certified Nurse Assistant exam required for certification.
- Not listed on the applicable State Abuse Registry
- Must have CPR for the professional rescuer
Specialized Knowledge:
- Demonstrates basic mathematical skills.

- Successful work employment history.
