Job Description
The HVAC Technician plays a crucial role in installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for both residential and commercial clients. This position involves working within a small team, reporting directly to the Service Manager, and requires frequent travel to multiple client sites. The role offers opportunities for career growth toward Lead Technician or Supervisor positions.
Responsibilities
- Install HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings
- Perform regular maintenance and preventive maintenance tasks
- Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC system issues
- Repair faulty components and replace parts as needed
- Calibrate HVAC equipment to optimize performance
- Ensure safety compliance during all service activities
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience in HVAC maintenance and repair
- EPA Universal Certification
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong troubleshooting skills in HVAC systems
- Knowledge of refrigeration cycles
- Experience with electrical wiring and circuit testing
- Ability to read blueprints
- Excellent customer service and time management skills
- Commitment to team collaboration and safety compliance
