Aerospace Assembler / Soldering Technician

Location: Redmond, Washington
Pay: $24 to $29.90+/hr (depending on experience & shift)
Shift Times:

• 1st Shift: 5:30am - 2:00pm (Monday - Friday)
• 2nd Shift: 2:30pm - 11:00pm (Monday - Friday)

This role is ideal for candidates with experience in electronic assembly, circuit board assembly, PCB repair, microsoldering, electromechanical assembly, wiring, troubleshooting, and blueprint reading . You'll work in a highly technical manufacturing environment where quality, precision, and attention to detail are essential.
Key Responsibilities

• Perform precision soldering, electronic assembly, and circuit board repair on aerospace electronic components
• Assemble, troubleshoot, diagnose, and rebuild electromechanical systems, control panels, PCBs, and electrical assemblies
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and engineering drawings
• Utilize precision measuring instruments, diagnostic equipment, and standard hand tools
• Perform PCB rework, wiring, component replacement, and testing as needed
• Conduct in-process and final inspections to ensure compliance with FAA regulations, IPC standards, and quality requirements
• Support engineering and R&D initiatives through testing, documentation review, and technical training
• Maintain tools, equipment, inventory, and organized workstations
• Assist with training and mentoring new technicians

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Skilled in using measuring instruments and standard hand tools.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Competent in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong English communication skills (reading, writing, and comprehension).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with circuit board assembly, PCB repair, PCB rework, or electronics troubleshooting
• Microscope soldering or microsoldering experience
• Experience with wiring, harnessing, and control panel assembly
• Prior experience in aerospace manufacturing, aviation, or regulated electronics production
• IPC-A-610, IPC J-STD-001, or other IPC certifications preferred
• Experience working in a light balancing room is a plus

Work Environment
Work in a regulated aerospace production environment supporting the assembly and repair of cockpit-related electronics, including circuit boards, switch panels, control panels, and electronic assemblies . This position requires strong attention to detail, adherence to quality standards, and the ability to perform precision assembly and soldering in a manufacturing setting.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $29.90/hr.
