Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a diverse range of ultrasound examinations, such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during all procedures, clearly explaining each step with empathy and understanding
• Work in synergy with radiologists and referring physicians to generate high-quality diagnostic images
• Effectively operate and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any equipment malfunctions you encounter
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and ensure patient records are updated within the electronic medical system
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related discipline
• Preferential consideration for completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certification Requirements

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is a plus
