Remote Supply Chain Coordinator

About the Role Our client is seeking an organized and efficient Remote Supply Chain Coordinator to support their procurement and logistics operations, serving clients across regions that include East London . This fully remote position focuses on facilitating the smooth flow of goods and services, coordinating with suppliers, monitoring shipments, and ensuring all supply chain activities align with company standards and client needs. You will be instrumental in maintaining optimal inventory levels and resolving logistical challenges from a virtual setting. Key Responsibilities Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services according to purchase orders. Monitor inbound and outbound shipments, tracking progress and resolving any delays or issues. Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, supply chain transactions, and supplier communications. Facilitate communication between internal departments (e.g., sales, warehouse) and external partners. Assist in the preparation of reports on supply chain performance, costs, and efficiency metrics. Identify and propose solutions for potential supply chain disruptions or inefficiencies. Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience in supply chain coordination, logistics, or purchasing . Proficiency in supply chain management software and MS Office Suite, especially Excel. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder collaboration. Proactive problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
