Drive sales and service results, manage expenses within budget; maintain weekly schedules to maximize productivity and service quality. Lead neighbor experience, greeting neighbors loyalty program, and neighbor satisfaction Oversee all store operations: merchandising, inventory, animal care, safety, cleanliness, security, and policy compliance. Represent the store in the community by building partnerships, leading events, and promoting the brand and driving content for social media to strengthen local presence and neighbor loyalty. What We're Looking For: 3+ years of retail experience in a leadership role Strong communication and leadership skills with attention to detail Genuine passion for pets with interest in pet care and nutrition Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment Flexibility to work a varied schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed Ability to safely operate all store equipment (including forklift) About LH Mercantile: LH Mercantile, LLC is a franchisee of Pet Supplies Plus that currently has 16 locations throughout the Chicago suburbs and Northwest Indiana. We offer self-service pet washes and full-service grooming and provide curbside pickup, delivery, and autoship services. We offer a wide selection of food, supplies and accessories for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, fish and small animals.
