Research Associate

Location: Chicago, IL| Employment Type: Full-Time | Reports to: Research Director

Reporting to the Research Director, we’re looking for a curious and collaborative Research Associate to join Reach3 Insights. In this role, you’ll help support the end-to-end market research project cycle, from questionnaire development and data collection through analysis, reporting, and client-ready deliverables, working with smart, kind people who love turning human insights into clear stories, stronger decisions, and better customer experiences.

This role is open to candidates based in the Chicago region with a hybrid working model designed to support connection, focused work, and real life outside of work.

What you’ll own

• Assist with the market research project cycle, including questionnaire and discussion guide development, data collection, quality control, analysis, and reporting.
• Identify and write up analytical findings, visualize quantitative and qualitative insights, and help create polished, client-ready deliverables.
• Work closely with team members and external subcontractors while learning market research methodologies, software, and technology platforms.

What you bring

• 0-1 years of relevant, hands-on work experience and a university or College degree.
• Exposure to basic quantitative and qualitative market research methods, the research process, questionnaire design, data analysis, visualization, and research technology platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to ask questions, seek guidance, and collaborate effectively with teammates and external partners.
• A curious, analytical mindset with strong logic, numeric, and problem-solving skills and an eagerness to learn new technologies and research approaches.
• Excellent attention to detail and organization, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines while producing accurate, high-quality work.
• A positive, collaborative, self-starting approach and a genuine desire to learn from and contribute to the team.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with questionnaire design, market research software, data visualization, online research methodologies, or technology platforms.
• Exposure to market research, consumer insights, data analysis, or another research-focused environment is an asset.

Fair compensation: We’re committed to pay equity and fair pay practices. The salary range for this role is $50,000 to $60,000, with final compensation based on skills, experience, and internal equity.
