Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

What You'll Do as a Transportation Dispatcher:

Dispatch & Service Coordination

• Assign and coordinate transportation trips to drivers based on service needs.
• Monitor daily transportation activity and make adjustments to schedules as needed.
• Communicate trip details, service updates, and route information to drivers.
• Help ensure timely pickups and drop-offs while maintaining service standards.
• Respond to operational challenges and assist in resolving service disruptions.
• Support efficient vehicle utilization and transportation coverage throughout the day.

Driver & Customer Support

• Serve as a key point of contact between drivers, customers, and management.
• Provide drivers with trip assistance, directions, and operational updates.
• Answer driver questions and support day-to-day transportation needs.
• Assist with customer inquiries and service-related concerns.
• Help resolve transportation issues quickly and professionally.
• Deliver outstanding customer service through clear and timely communication.

Operations & Administrative Support

• Maintain accurate dispatch records and trip documentation.
• Monitor daily service activity and operational performance.
• Complete data entry and operational reporting as needed.
• Assist management with transportation scheduling and service planning.
• Support company goals by helping maintain efficient and reliable operations.
• Follow dispatch procedures and company policies to ensure consistent service delivery.

What We're Looking for as a Transportation Dispatcher:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience in dispatching, customer service, transportation, logistics, scheduling, or a related field preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Experience with dispatch software, GPS systems, or transportation management platforms is a plus.
