As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating residents to help them achieve long-term health benefits and improve their overall mobility and quality of life.

Key responsibilities include:

• Evaluating residents' conditions and developing individualized physical rehabilitation plans.
• Helping residents improve mobility and functional independence.
• Relieving pain using exercises, hands-on therapy, stretching, and physical therapy devices.
• Assisting residents in using physical therapy equipment effectively.
• Guiding residents through therapy tasks, monitoring their performance and progress.
• Informing residents about what they should expect at different stages of their recovery.
• Supervising physical therapy assistants when required.
• Contributing to interdisciplinary team efforts to ensure comprehensive resident care.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program.
• Current New York State PT License.
