Pharmacy TechnicianVanderbilt University Hospital is hiring a Certified Pharmacy Technician for the Inpatient Central Pharmacy!Position HighlightsHours are Monday - Friday 2:00pm - 10:30pm.Every 3rd weekend rotation.Must be a Certified Pharmacy Technician through either PTCB or NHA in order to be considered.This position will allow you to cross-train across all pharmacy operations including managing central pharmacy workflows, delivering medications to Omnicell's, preparing sterile products, and supporting OR pharmacy.Earn extra income with shift differentials!Key ResponsibilitiesAssists the pharmacist in the preparation, dispensing and/or distribution of medications.Applies departmental processes regarding inventory control.Performs activities as directed by Pharmacists &/or Pharmacy Managers in accordance with federal, state and local laws/regulations and hospital policies.Delivers outstanding customer service to both internal and external customers.Operates computer systems and utilizes technology.The responsibilities listed are a general overview of the position and additional duties may be assigned.This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within Vanderbilt Health, supported by a comprehensive benefits package which may include health, disability, retirement and/or wellness offerings to enhance your well-being and professional growth.Vanderbilt Health is committed to fostering an environment where everyone has the chance to thrive and is committed to the principles of equal opportunity.
