Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Job Details:

• Work 10-hour day shifts as Interventional Radiology Technologist
• Handle 8-12 patient caseload daily
• Weekend call required - 1 full weekend per month
• On-call responsibilities approximately 7-10 days per month
• STEMI Call team must respond within 30 minutes of activation with 2-hour call back guarantee
• Must have strong catheterization lab experience and ability to work in interventional radiology
• 3 years of experience required
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Perform elective catheterizations (diagnostic and interventions), right heart catheterizations, STEMI procedures, IABP, and pacemaker procedures
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT registration plus MD license, or RCIS certification
• Skills include angioplasty, cardiac stent placement, insertion/programming of AICDs, pacemaker insertion, scrub technique maintaining sterile field, and temporary pacemaker procedures
• Use Cerner and McKesson charting systems
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Must pass nicotine and cotinine drug screening - strict no-tobacco policy
• May float within hospital or to affiliate hospital nearby
• Complete 4-6 hours of non-billable modules during orientation and annually through Relias/Net Learning portal
