This is an excellent opportunity to form young men in critical thinking, scientific reasoning, and problem-solving while preparing them for college and beyond.### Position OverviewAs a Physics Teacher at Servite High School, the candidate will:* Teach **five periods per day**, with the ability to teach multiple levels of physics, which may include: + Physical Science + CP Physics (Basic - Algebra based) + HP Physics (Honors - Trig based) + AP Physics C: Mechanics (Calculus based)* Design and deliver engaging lessons that emphasize conceptual understanding, scientific inquiry, and real-world application.* Support students in developing strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and confidence in physics.* Incorporate laboratory experiments and hands-on investigations to deepen student learning and engagement.* Collaborate with the Science Department and administration to align curriculum, assessments, and instructional practices.* Integrate Servite’s Catholic mission and values into classroom culture and instruction.* Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to the life of the school community.## Qualifications### Ideal CandidateWe are looking for a candidate who:* Is passionate about teaching physics and helping students develop as critical thinkers and problem-solvers.* Demonstrates strong content knowledge and the ability to teach **multiple levels of high school physics**, including AP coursework.* Is highly organized, student-centered, and able to engage motivated learners.* Has prior teaching experience (preferred), including experience with honors and/or AP-level courses.* Embraces Servite’s Catholic identity and mission of forming young men of faith, character, and leadership. #J-18808-Ljbffr Servite High School
