Our organization is looking for a Consult-Liaison Psychiatrist to become a vital part of our expanding behavioral health team in Biddeford. In this engaging position, you will act as the main psychiatric consultant for the Emergency Department and medical/surgical units. You will collaborate closely with crisis clinicians, hospitalists, and ED providers to assess patients and facilitate prompt and effective behavioral health care. This role provides a variety of clinical experiences, opportunities for academic collaboration, and smooth integration with both outpatient and inpatient behavioral health services, including access to ECT, partial hospitalization, and ACT programs. Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduation from an Allopathic or Osteopathic Medical School, along with completion of an internship and psychiatric residency and/or fellowship training.
• A current or eligible physician license from the Maine Board of Licensure in Medicine.
• Certification by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology or eligibility for examination, with documentation of being board certified or board eligible in general psychiatry.
• A valid DEA Registration Certificate.
• Preferred experience of 3+ years, including residency and/or fellowship training.
• Compliance with additional credentialing standards as outlined in medical staff by-laws.
