Join a nationally established litigation platform with a deeply experienced Miami healthcare defense team representing physicians, hospitals, healthcare systems, long-term care facilities and other medical providers in sophisticated professional liability matters.
Platform
High-Level Healthcare Defense: Handle medical malpractice, wrongful death and professional liability claims across Florida.
Serious Trial Capability: Learn from experienced trial attorneys who regularly defend high-exposure medical negligence matters, including claims involving catastrophic injury, birth injury, emergency medicine and complex specialist care.
National Resources, Local Partner Access: Join a 400+ attorney platform while working closely with an established Miami team and maintaining meaningful responsibility over your own matters.
Genuine Partnership Progression: Join a firm actively promoting attorneys internally - including a 12-attorney partner class announced in 2026; with clear scope to build toward long-term advancement.
Responsibilities
- Defend medical malpractice, professional liability and wrongful death matters from inception through resolution
- Take and defend fact, physician and expert depositions
- Work directly with physicians, hospitals, healthcare providers and retained experts
Requirements
- 4+ years of civil litigation experience
- Active Florida Bar admission required
- Experience analysing complex medical records and working with expert witnesses
- Trial or substantial trial-preparation experience highly valued
