Schedule: Day Shift | Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday | 40 Hours/Week
Pay: $20 - $24/hr

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant (MA) to support front-office and back-office operations, including patient intake, clinical support, phlebotomy, EKGs, and POC testing.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience, excluding externship experience.
Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred.
Recent phlebotomy/venipuncture experience required.
EMR experience required.
Front-office and back-office Medical Assistant experience.
Strong patient communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent attention to detail and strong computer skills.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Greet and room patients and prepare them for examinations.
Obtain, record, and monitor patient vital signs.
Perform phlebotomy and venipuncture procedures.
Administer vaccines as directed.
Perform EKG testing and Point-of-Care (POC) testing.
Schedule patient appointments and manage scheduling tasks.
Answer phones and assist with front-office responsibilities.
Provide clinical support to providers and healthcare staff.
Maintain accurate patient documentation and utilize EMR systems.
Support front-office and back-office operations as needed.
Assist with health education and outreach activities.
Maintain a collaborative relationship with center staff.
Perform additional clinical support duties as required.
