An opportunity is available for a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide essential behavioral consultation and support services within a school-based setting near Winter Garden, FL. This position is ideal for professionals passionate about improving student outcomes through evidence-based interventions and collaborative teamwork. The district is actively seeking a candidate as of 7/6 for the upcoming academic year.

As an itinerant BCBA, you'll work primarily on-site across multiple private schools within the county, offering behavioral assessments, intervention planning, staff training, and program monitoring. This contract role is 30 hours per week, spread over four days, and follows a typical school calendar running from September to late May.

Key Qualifications:

• Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) required
• National Certification (active and in good standing)
• Experience in educational settings highly preferred
• Capacity to conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments and develop detailed reports
• Ability to train and supervise school staff on Behavioral Intervention Plan implementation
• Skilled in behavioral therapy interventions for both individuals and groups
• Knowledge of social-emotional curricula such as Zones of Regulation, LEAPS, and Sanford Harmony
• Adaptability to itinerant assignments and varying school environments

Primary Responsibilities:

• Complete thorough behavioral assessments through observation, record review, and collaboration with staff
• Develop and implement Behavioral Intervention Plans for students or classrooms
• Provide ongoing staff training, guidance, and data collection support
• Deliver direct behavioral therapy as appropriate
• Monitor and adjust behavioral plans to ensure student progress and generalization of skills
• Assist in implementing social-emotional and behavioral curriculum
• Support positive behavioral interventions and crisis prevention strategies

The onboarding process includes completion of district-required documentation and participation in credentialing steps to receive access badges.
