Job Description
Broadridge Financial Solutions, Inc. seeks:
TITLE: Senior Software Engineer
DUTIES:
• Responsible for the architecture, development and maintenance of a suite of Reports, ETL and custom extracts of critical data necessary for daily operation of major financial institutions
• Establishes and oversees Agile software development process within the team compliant with Broadridge software development practices.
• Builds, tests, debugs and implements code for existing or new business applications
• Full Stack development and review business and functional requirements provided by the Product Management team
• Build technical design documentation and contribute to design discussions that will result in new business or technical improvements
• Contribute to technical roadmap and continually review existing architecture for improvements
• Ensure every coding path is unit tested and bug free
• Ensure all code conforms to software security practices and is free of security vulnerabilities
• Work with QA to build test cases and explain impacted test areas and address issues and fix defects
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar field plus 3 years of work experience. Previous experience to include: Talend, SQL Server, Oracle, Python, and AWS.
LOCATION: Newark, NJ. Position is based in Newark, NJ but role holder is eligible to work remotely within the US, with manager and HR approval
SALARY: Salary Range: $149,000.00 – $160,000.00 USD annual.
