Senior Project Manager – Low Voltage TechnologiesNext Level Technician is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager for a direct-hire opportunity in Lexington, KY. This is a senior-level opportunity for a proven Project Manager with a strong background in structured cabling, fiber, physical security, audiovisual, wireless, and critical low voltage systems.The Senior Project Manager will oversee multi-million-dollar projects from initial planning and kickoff through field execution and closeout, with responsibility for safety, quality, schedule, client satisfaction, and financial performance. Responsibilities include:Manage low voltage and technology projects from planning and scheduling through final closeoutLead project kickoff meetings and conduct project site walksDevelop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and execution plansManage multi-million-dollar projects while maintaining profitability, quality, and scheduleCoordinate with field supervisors, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliersOversee workforce planning and performance of installation teamsCoordinate material procurement, deliveries, and shop drawing requirementsMaintain proactive communication with clients and project stakeholdersTrack project costs, profitability, forecasting, and change ordersReview and approve invoices and timesheetsEnsure compliance with project safety requirements and quality standardsConduct site inspections and monitor field progressOversee project documentation, including as-built drawings and certification reportsDevelop strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendorsIdentify opportunities for continuous improvement and long-term client growthLow Voltage Systems Ideal candidates will have experience managing projects involving several of the following:Structured cablingCopper and fiber optic systemsGroundingAccess controlCCTV / video surveillanceIntrusion detectionAudiovisual systemsWireless connectivityCritical low voltage infrastructureQualifications:7–10+ years of project management experience in construction, telecommunications, or low voltage systemsStrong technical background in low voltage construction, including copper, fiber, and groundingProven experience managing multi-million-dollar projects and field teamsStrong understanding of project budgets, cost tracking, profitability, and change managementExperience managing projects from kickoff through final closeoutStrong workforce planning and team leadership experienceExcellent client-facing communication and relationship-management skillsStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilitiesProficiency with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and MS ProjectBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Management, or equivalent professional experienceValid driver's license and willingness to travel as requiredPreferred Qualifications:PMPRTPMRCDDBICSI Technician certificationOSHA 30Safety leadership trainingData center, healthcare, manufacturing, financial services, hospitality, technology, retail, or other large commercial/industrial project experiencePosition Details:Location: Lexington, KYEmployment Type: Full-Time / Direct HirePrimarily office-based with regular project site visitsTravel as required based on project needsOccasional after-hours work may be requiredWhy Work with Next Level Technician?
