Damage Prevention Supervisor/Lead LocatorStratus Construction is currently hiring experienced Locator/Damage Prevention Manager. The primary job responsibilities will be to manage your employees' workload, training, schedules, and emergency response.Required Skills/Abilities:Monitoring tickets throughout each day on BOSS and trading/moving them as needed to accommodate volume and efficiencyLocate a designated area or where help is needed to regulate volume and maintain customer qualityReceive phone calls and be available 24/7 with assistanceCoordination of vacation, holiday, emergency and weekend schedulesSupport team members with daily issues/concernsMaintain and boost morale with locators in the fieldLocate in areas that need assistance or troubled specific locatesDetermine the working hours of locators so that ticket volume can be managedAssist with shooting difficult locates - "schedule and assist with Meet-up"Responsible for equipment calibration and documentation of calibrationFirst level - damage/damage reports initial documentationCorrectly, safely, and efficiently locate underground telecommunicationsMust be computer proficientPositive, can-do attitudeWillingness and desire to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and quality resultsPossess good time management skillsAble to walk up to 5 miles a day in all weather conditionsUnderstanding of basic bonding and groundingOperate different electronic detection equipment, and Ground Penetrating Radar to locate and mark underground utilities within set accuracy limitsUse a shovel to expose buried utilities when necessaryAble to use all required personal protective equipment/Safely operate company vehicleTraining new locatorsSupport safety initiatives per company policyPrevious experience is requiredJob Type: Full-time:Pay: $50,000 - $70,000 (Based on experience)Benefits:401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:On call24/7 Emergency and Weekends as neededLicense/Certification:Driver's License (Required)Work Location: Central and upper Illinois
