Job Summary and Responsibilities Provides leadership that facilitates the delivery of professional nursing care for the comfort and well-being of patients. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Implements medically prescribed interventions. Qualifications Education: Required—Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enrollment in a BSN program with completion of the BSN within five years of hire. Preferred—Master’s in Nursing. License/Certifications: Must hold and maintain current licensure as a registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. A current eNLC (Enhanced Nurse License Compact) license is acceptable. Must have a current BLS Healthcare Provider certificate. Preferred—National certification in an area of specialty.
