Fragrance Coordinator (Luxury Beauty & Fragrance Sales)

Our client, a prestigious global luxury fragrance and beauty brand, is seeking a Fragrance Coordinator to support market development and drive sales performance across a key Northeast territory. Location: Greater New York Territory (NYC, Long Island, New Jersey, Pennsylvania) Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday | Typical Hours: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (additional hours may be required during events) Work Arrangement: 4 days in the field/stores, 1 day remote Pay Rate: $30 - $34/hour Duration: Through March 2027, with potential for extension or permanent hire based on performance Start Date: ASAP Candidates must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license The Fragrance Coordinator will spend the majority of their time in-store, partnering with retail teams, supporting fragrance ambassadors, executing events, and ensuring the brand is represented to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities Support sell‑through initiatives and maximize retail sales performance across assigned doors. Analyze sales trends and recommend action plans to improve results. Partner with store leadership to increase visibility, improve product placement, and enhance customer engagement. Monitor inventory levels and product availability. Support fragrance ambassadors and retail teams in achieving and exceeding business goals. Participate in selling activities alongside store teams during peak selling periods and special events. Oversee and support fragrance ambassadors throughout the territory. Provide ongoing coaching, training, and field development. Conduct in‑store sales training and product education sessions. Foster strong relationships with retailer management and staff. Support scheduling and productivity management of the ambassador team. Lead through influence while maintaining a collaborative and positive team environment. Events & Brand Visibility Execute in‑store events, animations, and promotional activities. Ensure visual merchandising standards are consistently maintained. Secure premium product placement and merchandising opportunities within stores. Manage tester inventory and point‑of‑sale materials. Support the successful implementation of marketing and trade initiatives. Reporting & Business Management Track and report sales performance by location. Monitor ambassador productivity and staffing effectiveness. Provide competitive market insights and feedback. Complete regular business recaps, sales reports, and stock requests. Maintain accurate scheduling and time approvals. Qualifications Required 2+ years of experience in luxury retail, beauty, fragrance, cosmetics, or department store environments. Strong retail sales background with demonstrated success driving business results. Leadership or people‑management experience, ideally supporting field teams or retail associates. Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship‑building skills. Strong organizational and analytical abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Flexibility to travel regularly within the territory. Availability to work Tuesday through Saturday. Preferred Experience with luxury fragrance brands. Previous field sales, retail operations, or account coordination experience. Candidates based in Queens or surrounding areas are highly encouraged to apply.
