Data Entry Specialist – Order Entry

Location: Sacramento, CA
Pay: $18.00–$19.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time | Onsite | Temp-to-Hire

Legacy Career Solutions is recruiting a Data Entry Specialist – Order Entry for an established manufacturing and distribution company in Sacramento.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented and comfortable working independently in a quiet office environment. Previous door or building-products experience is not required. The company will provide training on its products and internal systems.

The organization offers a stable work environment with many long-term employees and opportunities to advance into higher-level data entry and customer service positions as employees gain experience and product knowledge.

What You Will Do

• Enter customer, stock and production orders accurately into the company's order-entry system
• Review order information carefully for correct sizes, quantities, materials and other details
• Process routine order changes and updates
• Navigate orders and requests through internal systems
• Maintain electronic order documentation and records
• Communicate with the sales team when information is missing or clarification is needed
• Assist with return and credit-request processing
• Prepare shipping labels and related documentation when needed
• Provide occasional administrative support to the office
• Maintain accuracy while handling multiple orders and priorities

What We Are Looking For

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous data entry, order entry, administrative or general office experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Comfortable sitting and working at a computer for the majority of the workday
• Able to remain focused and productive in a quiet, detail-oriented office environment
• Comfortable learning new software and order-entry systems
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to ask questions when information is unclear rather than guessing
• Ability to work independently while also being part of a team

Experience with ERP/order-entry systems, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Monday.com, manufacturing or distribution is helpful but not required .

Schedule

Monday–Thursday: 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with a one-hour lunch
Friday: 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m., with a 30-minute lunch

Occasional overtime may be required.
