Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist licensure and credentials for school-based practice
• Previous experience providing OT services in a school environment strongly preferred
• Solid understanding of IEP development, progress monitoring, and therapy documentation
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with staff, students, and families
• Strong ability to adapt OT techniques to meet diverse student needs
• Commitment to maintaining ethical and professional standards in all interactions

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to determine students’ functional abilities and therapy needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans as part of IEP team
• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services in various school settings
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success
• Document student progress, maintaining accurate and timely records
• Participate in meetings to share expertise and contribute to student-centered planning
• Offer strategies and resources that foster student independence and participation in school activities
