About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to play a pivotal role in the evolution of its AI-powered marketplace optimization platform. The successful candidate will be a visionary and operationally excellent leader, responsible for driving the technical and product development strategy. This includes leading and scaling engineering teams, fostering a culture of operational excellence, and mentoring a world-class distributed engineering organization. The CTO will also own and execute the technical roadmap, simplify and expand the company's infrastructure, and ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of the platform. A key aspect of the role is strategic partnership with the CEO and leadership team, translating business objectives into technical initiatives, and championing the technical vision for the artificial retail intelligence platform. Applicants for the CTO position at the company should have a degree in computer science from a leading technical institution, with 10-15+ years of experience in building SaaS technology and leading engineering teams in Big Data environments. A strong background in AI/ML, particularly in generative AI and LLMs, is essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing large, remote teams and a mindset focused on operational excellence. Experience in e-commerce and marketplace platforms, as well as deep AI expertise in areas such as prompt engineering and orchestration layers, is highly valued. The role requires a leader with a strong product sensibility, capable of partnering closely with product teams, and a history of scaling engineering organizations through hypergrowth phases.
