We provide healthcare services through our hospitals, clinics, Level 1 trauma facility, air emergency fleet and EMS service.ResponsibilitiesMakes and schedules appointment for procedures and surgeries for patients in an efficient and timely manner.Verifies and pre-certifies insurance coverage for surgical procedures. Coordinates day surgeries within main surgery department.Maintain productivity logs for department director.QualificationsJob Requirements:High school diploma or GED.Computer experience (Excel/Word).Preferred Job Requirements:Two to Three years of work experience in a medical office.Knowledge of medical terminology and surgical scheduling.
