50/50 QA Manual/ Automation EngineerHYBRID - 2 days on-site in Mesa Office6 months contract + possible extensionINTERVIEW: 1st Virtual, 2nd IN-PERSON in Mesa, AZManager’s Notes:LinkedIn profile URL required when submitting resumeFirst interview: Technical screening virtual (1 hr.)Second interview: In-person at Mesa office for local candidatesFinal interview: If neededLocal candidate onlyComing to office for at least 2 times a week Mondays and Wednesdays(He will allow candidates out of AZ but if the first virtual interview goes well, they will have to attend 2nd as IN-PERSON interview in AZ, so the recruiter must inform the candidates this)Essential Responsibilities:Requirement Analysis and designing detailed test cases and procedures from requirement specificationsTest new applications and repeatable testing for existing productsEnsure all product releases meet or exceed defined quality goalsIterative Development and Release Management process experience in an Agile Scrum environmentWork with business analysts, development teams, and internal groups to ensure customer requirements are metAttends design review and user meetings as requiredDocuments test cases and defects as neededPerforms execution of test plan, continually analyzing test efforts for completenessPerforms system integration, functional, volume, user interface and performance testing on modifications and enhancements before production releases through manual and automated techniquesCreate, maintain, and run automated test scriptsAnalyzes failure/success of automated scripts and makes modifications as requiredQualifications:Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) and 10+ years in software quality assurance focused on Web-based application testingExperience with Windows operating systems and applicationsExperience writing test cases and test plansExperience using QA testing tools like Azure DevOps TFS, Selenium Web Driver with C#, Postman and SQL related tools.3+ years of experience with UI and API Functional Testing and tools such as Selenium WebDriver with C# and or Playwright.Experience on testing.net applications, Web APIs and Windows ServicesExperience with Iterative Development in an Agile Scrum environmentAbility to conduct functional testing, regression testing, system-level integration testing, end-to-end testing, and acceptance testingHave a firm understanding of SQL or PL/SQL and relational database conceptsIn-depth understanding of software development processes and methodologies including their documentation and creationKnowledge and experience with version control and defect tracking systemsAbility to handle multiple projects and task responsibilities simultaneously and switch among them quickly to meet prioritized business needsGather, use and analyze defect metrics data to present analysis findings to the appropriate levels of management verbally and through the preparation of periodic written reportsCandidate must fill out and return the matrixAreas - Years of real work experienceQA testing of Application GUI (.net application)QA testing of Web APIsQA testing of Windows ServicesTest Automation SeleniumTest Automation PlaywrightTest Automation Others testing FrameworkTest Automation Web APIsTest Automation Windows Services (Non-GUI and Non-API)Performance testing Windows ServicesAgile Scrum/Sprint/Scrum processSQL QueriesOracle databaseMS SQL Server databaseWindows Dot Net environmentC# languageJava languageAzure DEVOps CI CD
