Patient Care Associate – Stepdown – Full Time – Night Shift Under the supervision of the Patient Care Director, the Patient Care Associate is responsible for patient care tasks and a variety of advanced para‑professional and technical functions and skills that contribute to the health, safety and comfort of patients. This technical position performs environmental duties and functions as a Nursing Attendant as necessary, and has no supervisory responsibility. The shift for this position is 11:00pm to 7:00am, and includes weekends and holidays. Responsibilities The role includes performing patient care tasks, environmental duties for the unit, and any required nursing attendant duties. Required Criteria High school diploma or GED Current CPR training from the American Heart Association One year of Nursing Attendant experience Completion of an approved Patient Care Technician training program Work Location All roles require on‑site presence. Employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP. NYP will not reimburse travel expenses.
