Job Summary:
Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse position available in the region. This role involves providing direct, individualized nursing care to adult patients before and after surgical procedures. The nurse will assess patient conditions, administer medications, monitor vital signs, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a hospital environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing; current RN license in the State of Oregon; BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; evidence of continuing education appropriate for skill level and area of practice.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN); Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (CMSRN); previous Medical-Surgical nursing experience; CRASE training (if extension beyond 6 months in the assignment).
• Additional Information: The position involves performing a variety of nursing duties, including responding quickly and accurately to patient condition changes, initiating computerized plans of care upon admission, and supporting the hospital's mission and values. Agency nurses may be floated to other departments where they are qualified to perform patient care. Participation in required education for DNV programs applicable to the position is necessary.
