TAX MANAGER / SENIOR TAX MANAGER / TAX DIRECTOR
Position Overview
We are seeking a Tax Manager, Senior Tax Manager, or Tax Director for a Phoenix-based organization. This is a full-time leadership position overseeing tax planning, compliance, and strategy for the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee tax strategy and planning
- Manage tax compliance and filing obligations
- Prepare and review tax returns and documentation
- Conduct tax research and analysis
- Manage relationships with external tax advisors and auditors
- Lead tax department and mentor team members
- Ensure adherence to all tax laws and regulations
- Participate in budgeting and financial planning
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation
- CPA certification required
- 7+ years tax experience, with 3+ years in management
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax law
- Experience with tax software and accounting systems
- Leadership and strategic planning skills
- Excellent communication and analytical abilities
Compensation
- Salary: $90,000 – $120,000/year
