Job Description What you'll do Provideemergencyandurgentmedical/surgicalcareforsmallanimalpatients. Triageandstabilizecriticalpatients;performemergencysurgeriesanddiagnostics. Communicateclearlyandcompassionatelywithclientsaboutstatus,prognosis,andtreatmentoptions. Workcollaborativelywithtechniciansandsupportstaff;mentorcolleaguesasneeded. Maintainaccuratemedicalrecordsandfollowhospitalprotocolsandstandards. Qualifications DVM/VMDfromanaccreditedveterinaryschool. CurrentNCveterinarylicense(orabilitytoobtainlicensure). Emergencymedicineexperiencepreferred;motivatednewgraduateswithemergencyskillsetconsidered. Strongproceduralskills(intubation,venipuncture,urinarycatheterization,basicemergencysurgery).
