Surgery - General Physician Assistant

We are seeking a Physician Assistant for a General, Oncology, and Endocrine Surgery locum assignment in New Jersey. This is a long-term opportunity with a predominantly outpatient practice, weekday schedule, and no call responsibilities.
Assignment Details
- Start Date: September 2026
- Assignment through March 2027
- Approximately 28-week assignment
Schedule
- Monday Friday
- 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
- No call
Practice Setting
- 90% Outpatient
- 10% Inpatient
- Surgical specialty practice
Clinical Responsibilities
- General Surgery patient care
- Surgical Oncology patient management
- Endocrine Surgery patient care
- Preoperative and postoperative evaluations
- Outpatient clinic responsibilities
- Limited inpatient rounding as needed
Team Structure
- Two Surgeons
- One Advanced Practice Provider
- Collaborative multidisciplinary environment
Requirements
- Physician Assistant
- Surgical experience preferred
- General Surgery, Surgical Oncology, or Endocrine Surgery experience preferred
- Prior locum/travel experience preferred
Ideal Candidate
An experienced Surgical PA seeking a predictable weekday schedule with a strong outpatient focus and the opportunity to work alongside an established surgical team.
