Material Handling Specialist

Material Handler / ExpeditorFalls Filtration Technologies is seeking a dependable and motivated Material Handler / Expeditor to support our manufacturing operations. This position is responsible for ensuring materials, components, and supplies are delivered to the appropriate work areas on time to keep production running efficiently. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesTransport raw materials, parts, and finished products throughout the facility.Deliver materials to production departments based on production schedules and work orders.Monitor inventory levels and notify management of material shortages.Expedite materials to ensure production deadlines are met.Stage materials for upcoming production jobs.Verify materials against work orders and packing slips.Assist with receiving and stocking incoming materials.Maintain accurate inventory records and complete required documentation.Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, or other material handling equipment (training/certification provided if applicable).Work closely with Production, Shipping/Receiving, Purchasing, and Quality departments.Follow all company safety policies and procedures.Perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED preferred.Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred.Experience operating a forklift is a plus.Ability to read work orders and production schedules.Experience using AI tools (such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar technologies) is a plus. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Experience in using an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system for inventory, production, shipping, or material transactions preferred.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel).Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Physical RequirementsFrequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds.Stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the shift.Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.What We're Looking ForReliable attendance and punctuality.Positive attitude and willingness to learn.Strong work ethic.Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.Team player with a commitment to safety and quality.
